Cheyenne Cañon.

Creek-side lots and hillside light, ten minutes from downtown and a climate of its own.

Cheyenne Cañon
The character

The canyon neighborhoods sit where the city runs out and the mountain begins. Houses stack along North Cheyenne Creek under ponderosa and scrub oak, and the light comes down the canyon walls in the morning like it was scheduled.

People who live here say the same thing: it does not feel like living in a city, and it is ten minutes from one.

The setting.

Creek sound, trailheads out the back door, mule deer in the yard. Seven Falls and the Cañon parks are the shared backyard.

The houses.

A mix the suburbs cannot make: 1920s stone cottages, 70s hillside moderns, and rebuilt customs on lots that took nerve to engineer.

The trade-off.

The driveway in January. Hillside lots mean grades, retaining walls, and fire-zone insurance math you should run before falling in love.
